Frederique Ankone Ladies’ World Champion

Frederique Ankone from the Netherlands has won the Ladies’ World Championship in Seinäjoki Junior speed skating World Championship competition. Frederique became a champion after winning 3000-metre distance on Sunday. She had already won both distances on Saturday. The second in final classification was Wieteke Cramer, also from the Netherlands. She was third on the 3000-metre distance on Sunday. The third in final classification was Heike Hartmann from Germany. She was second on 3000-metre distance. The Netherlands had a strong ladies’ team on Sunday, because the second fastest on 3000-metre race was also Dutch Helen van Goozen.
